Active Ingredients

Guaifenesin, USP 100 mg

Purpose

Guaifenesin, USP.....................Expectorant

Childrens Mucus Relief Expectorant Grape Uses

• helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial
secretions to rid the bronchial passageways of
bothersome mucus and make coughs more
productive

Ask a doctor before use if the child has

• cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus)
• persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with
asthma or chronic bronchitis

Stop use and ask a doctor if

• cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back,
or occurs with fever, rash, or persistent headache.
These could be signs of a serious illness.

When using this product

• do not use more than directed

Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.

In case of accidental overdose, seek professional
assistance or contact a Poison Control Center
immediately.

Directions

• do not exceed 6 doses in a 24-hour period

children 6 years to under 12 years            1-2 teaspoonfuls (tsps) every 4 hours
children 4 years to under 6 years              1/2-1 teaspoonful (tsp) every 4 hours
children under 4 years                                do not use

• each teaspoon contains: sodium 3 mg
• store at controlled room temperature
